MOMO
Marlborough, New Zealand
MOMO reflects its heritage as part of the Seresin Estate family - wines grown naturally to express the season and land from which they come. MOMO wines are made using grapes from Seresin’s three biodynamic vineyards and, for some wines, grapes are also selected from a dedicated grower’s vineyard which is in conversion to organics. From these roots, MOMO has developed its own identity, embracing traditional winemaking to produce wines which are true to variety and reflect the essence of their fruit characters.

What the critics are saying about our wines:
2010 Momo Sauvignon Blanc
89 points. Pale bright yellow. Aromas of nectarine, quinine and minerals, plus a whiff of flowers. Rich, ripe and fruity, with nicely integrated acidity framing the quinine and agave flavors. Gains in thickness toward the back and finishes with noteworthy persistence. Plenty of personality here. International Wine Cellar, 09/2011

2009 Momo Pinot Noir
88 points. Palish red. Complex aromas of red berries, cherry, pepper and underbrush. Sweet, silky and easy to drink, with red fruit and spice flavors complemented by a note of nutty oak on the finish. Light tannins will not get in the way of enjoying this pinot right now. International Wine Cellar, 09/2011

2009 Momo Sauvignon Blanc
89 points. Very smooth and sleek, featuring defined grapefruit, melon, citrus and apple flavors, with a crisp finish. This has an air of refinement, offering hints of spice and herbs, with floral details kicking in on the finish. Drink now. Wine Spectator, 06/2011

2009 Momo Pinot Noir
90 points. A wonderfully smooth and classy expression of ripe red fruit flavors, warm baking spices, vanillin and mineral accents. Very harmonious, with a long finish. Drink now through 2016. Wine Spectator, 05/2011
